We'll have a go at responding to all your messages once we've got the little fellow home. Sadly, the internet at the hospital isn't terribly useful, and at the moment I'm only home for a few hours a night, and I have to sleep sometime!
So, a short update. This morning when the doctors came around to check on Tim, we received the fantastic news that all his blood tests for infection came back negative, which means he is in the clear! Once he has finished his course of antibiotics (precautional), we can take him home. From the looks of it, this means Wednesday afternoon. Yay!
There is a lot to write about our experiences over the last four days, and I hope to put up a more substantial post (with more piccies) about it later in the week.

Heard about it from Jackie. Congratulations! Admittedly, all I can really do is mirror the sentiments of everyone else, but, yeah. You and Ben must be incredibly (and justificably) proud.
